iOS · break coach

Sit less. Blink more. Breathe on purpose.

Deskdew nudges you through the workday — eye rests, stretches, breathing, stand up, sit back down — on the schedule you set. Turn weather on and it can steer a break into the daylight while it lasts.

Four things happen. You do one of them.

No streaks to protect, no dashboards to tend. Set it up once and answer the nudges.

Score the day

One tap at clocking-off, on a scale of one to ten. Eight factors if you want to say why.

The day check-in

Five bands. Heavy to Great.

Pick a number from one to ten when you log off. Add a factor or two if you want to say why the day went the way it did. There's no text box anywhere — it's a tap each, at the moment you have least appetite for writing.

Over a couple of weeks the pattern shows up: which exercises you actually did, what the weather was doing, and which combination gave you the good days. Reading the whole record back is the Pro part.

The eight factors

  • Sleep
  • Meetings
  • Focus / flow
  • Interruptions
  • Daylight
  • Movement
  • Breaks
  • Workload

Each one is neutral until you tap it up or down. Neutral factors are simply left out of the day.

Small features. Nothing you have to learn.

Energy barometer

One tap a day on a one-to-ten scale, and eight optional factors. Five bands, Heavy to Great.

Weather-aware breaksPro

The hourly forecast from MET Norway, so a break can land in the clear window. Off until you turn it on.

Sit / stand cues

Posture switches through your hours: told when to get up, and when to settle back down.

Guided exercises

Ten stretches for neck, chest, back, wrists, hips and legs. Four eye exercises. Box breathing. Timed, so you don't count.

Insights

Which exercises you actually did, what the weather was doing, and which combination gave you the good days.

The widget

What's next, and a check-off button, on the Home or Lock Screen. Free, and the app can stay closed.

The widget

Tick it off without opening anything.

It shows what you should be doing right now, and the check-in button works without opening the app — or unlocking the phone. Home Screen or Lock Screen, it needs iOS 17, and it's part of the free version.

It's also the one part of Deskdew that picks up your system's light or dark appearance.

Start free. Stay free, if that's enough.

No account, no ads, and nothing about your day going anywhere.

One free week on a subscription, and Deskdew reminds you on day 5 — two days before it converts. Everything is bought, managed and refunded through Apple. Nothing you set up is lost if you stay free, or if a subscription lapses.

Fair questions.

Is it tracking me?+

No account, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no servers of ours. Your working hours, routine, history and check-ins stay on the device. Weather is the only thing Deskdew ever sends on its own, it starts switched off, and it has a single real off switch.

Read the privacy policy
Will it nag me all day?+

You choose which exercises are in your day, and on Pro how often each one comes. Every exercise has its own bell, so you can have a reminder for the eye break and nothing else. Reminders only fire during the working hours and days you've set.

I work nights. Does the schedule handle that?+

Yes. Set your working hours to end before they start — say 22:00 to 06:00 — and Deskdew treats it as one overnight shift: breaks, posture switches, and your history all stay attached to the day the shift started.

What happens if I never pay?+

Nothing stops working. The free version is a whole working day on its own, and nothing you set up is lost if you stay free — or if a subscription lapses and you come back later.

Tomorrow's desk day, with breaks in it.
